@chienfou@kuoh Yeah I have a decent amount of space to the side neighbors. Main side with big windows faces a river so not much concern there (far enough away and they are usually focused on fishing or recreational boating and if they want to use binoculars, they might not be well-rewarded for their efforts).
Biggest concern for me was if UPS guy shows up with a shipment of casemates wine needing a signature.
Definitely lounge clothes of some sort. Depending on the weather either sweats, yoga pants or shorts and a tank or a tee and possibly a sweatshirt (if the AC is on in the summer). I’m usually either lounging, cleaning or cooking of some sort.
My birthday is in January so unless I move to the Southern hemisphere, probably heavier sweats or flannely-kind-of-things. So for my birthday it rules out the birthday suit.
I also got some flannel-lined jeans a few years ago. But for inside, jeans just seem too heavy.
In Summer light athletic sweats or shorts. I usually still wear a shirt. My neighbor is about my age but buff as hell, unlike me. He will do gardening in shorts with no shirt, just six-pack abs (my six-pack of cans is for drinking) … or just hang out in his yard in that same attire on business phone calls.
Once the weather gets above the mid 50s you’re hard pressed to see me in anything other than shorts. We went to the Alabama Shakespeare festival to see Sherwood a couple of weeks ago. That’s first time I’ve worn long pants in over a month!
@pskemp2 They do if I’m taking out the trash quickly. Not for serious gardening. My wife has been doing gardening in what I think are yoga pants. For men, maybe not so much, especially the tight ones. LuluLemon here we come. Actually they have really nice comfy men’s comfy pants (lounge, yoga, “athleisure,” whatever you want to call it). About $120. I’m enjoying my stuff from Target clearance (when it used to be good) or season-end clearance at Costco: has to end in .97 or if you are really lucky .00.
EDIT and if I DO ever spring for $120 luxury leisure, I’m not going to be digging in the dirt with them. You only wear those while sitting inside watching the gardeners work.
Depends on the weather.
Pjs, yoga pants, lounge shorts, joggers, sweat pants. Basically anything I would classify as house clothes.
And since I work from home, that’s pretty much what I wear every single day.
The only pants I’m wearing at home if I don’t have company is underpants. Even for most of the company I have, lol, and I only wear those if the kids are home
I don’t get the the whole no-pants thing - I prefer having clothes on if I’m up and about doing stuff. Jeans or sweats if it’s cold, capris if it’s hot, or a flowy dress if it’s really hot.
Short.
Why would I be wearing pants in my own home?
@brennyn Don’t even need boxers or briefs when all the blinds are down.
KuoH
@brennyn Great answer. sometime that is what I am wearing!
@kuoh
Blinds? That’s the beauty of having space (and plantings) around your house!

My birthday suit looks like it needs ironing, but i usually keep my windows covered.
@phendrick

@chienfou Not too far away from “back doors”.
Skirt. For Reasons.

Nuffin
Underpants or joggers
The same knit pants or CaprIs (depending on the time of year) I wear every day.
Shorts. Always shorts.
Cargo shorts in the summer and khaki in the winter.
Shorts and a Meh tshirt.
Bathrobe
Men’s underwear shorts (penguins or polar bears) and a tank top for summer sweats and a tee for winter. I’m female.

Where is the option of none of the above? I’ll check that box.
A towel to sit on and to be prepared if I need to hitchhike suddenly.

I answered jeans, but TBH I wear jeans most of the time (waking hours, anyway).
